This course is for marketing students admitted directly to the English and Swedish master programs to prepare them for writing the master thesis at the end of studies in year two. In the course, you practice how to write a research proposal; hence, it is not a course to be taken in the first year unless you plan to go abroad in the autumn semester of year two. Please plan to ensure an optimal study path and choose obligatory and optional courses in marketing, methods, and other subjects.
Students in the integrated bachelor/master program in Swedish have acquired equivalent skills in the bachelor thesis and Design av undersökningsprojekt courses. So, it makes sense for you to enroll in other courses in marketing or relevant topics that support your thesis writing and upcoming career. Integrated program students can choose the course if they wrote the bachelor thesis several years ago or have switched major subjects after the bachelor thesis. Please read more in SISU.
The Moodle course key will be distributed to registered SISU students. Please ensure you have the correct email addresses in SISU, that you regularly check messages from SISU, and that these are not directed to the spam folder.
Before signing up for the course, please make sure you attend course sessions typically, but not always, on Mondays at 2:15 pm and Wednesdays at 10:15 am since the course is intensive and much of the learning takes place during the in-class sessions. Also, attend the introductory session Monday, October 28th at 12.30 pm in room A304 to confirm your course participation.
