5160 Academic Writing provides you with the knowledge and skills for writing successful academic papers. You will learn and apply models of academic writing in the different areas of economics. You will receive practice in writing paragraphs, in summarizing, paraphrasing and quoting sources, in drafting and refining research questions, in writing a peer review report on an academic paper, as well as producing drafts of an academic essay and eventually, the final paper.
