Dear Finance student,
Welcome to Empirical Methods in Finance. Please read the course description carefully (will be released in due time). Although the introductory lecture is not mandatory, it is strongly advised to attend it.
The introductory lecture is held on Monday, 4 September 2023 at 14.15 in Maxen. I am eager to see all of you at Hanken.
The enrolment was distributed 25 August. Please contact jan.antell@hanken.fi if you did not receive it.
Note about the registration in Sisu:
Among other pre-requisites, if you are a bachelor's student, the following applies: three finance courses and the course Statistisk Analys (7778) are required. The course Econometrics (Ekonometri, 3606) is strongly recommended. (The MOOC Principles of Wealth Management 17031 does not count as one of the three finance courses.) This is something Sisu does not check for automatically, and you will land on the list Requirements not fulfilled. If you fulfill all pre-requisites, the examiner will take measures to manually accept you to the course.
