The course introduces principles and practices that facilitate responsible and sustainable supply chain strategies and operations. Course is accessible to students from each of the MSc routes with an interest in supply chain management (SCM) and/or different elements of sustainability.
Indicative content includes but is not limited to a brief overview of corporate strategy and SCM; concepts of sustainability in general and pertaining to SCM; reverse and closed-loop supply chains and the circular economy; concepts of cleaner production and sustainable procurement and sourcing, packaging, storage and transportation; supply chain sustainability risks and resilience; social issues in the supply chain; sustainability standards and legislation pertaining to supply chains; and how to ‘green’ a supply chain.

All students must attend the first session on 24 October 2022 to confirm their registration for the course. There is a mandatory pre-course assignment in order to attend the course. It will be graded pass/fail and bears no weight for your final grade.
