The course introduces various approaches to business ethics, including a pragmatist approach. It connects business ethics to popular concepts, such as corporate social responsibility, stakeholder management and corporate citizenship, in the relationship between business and society. One basic argument in the course is that managerial decision making and corporate practices have a moral dimension that cannot be separated from economic rationales.
The course can be taken as part of the Study Module in Corporate Responsibility.
