This course uncovers innovative strategies for viable business progress in turbulent and nascent business fields, considering the challenges and opportunities that reside in these. The themes for the course are three; navigating uncertainties of the future, operating in unbounded environments, and managing in emerging business fields. As a basic governing premise, connecting all themes, we find the ability to understand markets as malleable value systems and, when needed, also engage in the reconstruction of these. This calls for strategic foresight, ambidexterity and dynamic capability.

The code of instruction rests on learning in an interactive and positive environment where the students prepare for active and constructive participation in class discussions. An empirical course project forms an important part of the course and the accompanying learning process.
