The online course 51004 Mastering Academic Writing builds on the theories and practice introduced in the course 51003 Academic Writing: apprentice level. During the course, the students will be writing an integrative research paper, run in cooperation with subject departments at Hanken School of Economics.

The Writers’ Workshop is open to all Hanken students and exchange students to refresh and reinforce their acquired written business communication skills. Through case studies and peer reviews the student is able to develop writing that is more audience- and purpose-focused.

Efter avlagd kurs kan du:

  • analyze and demonstrate understanding of communication strategies
  • write concise, focused, reader-friendly documents according to internationally accepted conventions
  • assess objectively one’s own and others’ written communication styles.

This course is primarily intended for Masters students. It is suggested for students taking a minor in Business Communication and it is highly recommended to students on the English Master's programmes.
