The online course 51004 Mastering Academic Writing builds on the theories and practice introduced in the course 51003 Academic Writing: apprentice level. During the course, the students will be writing an integrative research paper, run in cooperation with subject departments at Hanken School of Economics.

The course focuses on the skills in business terminology. It is intended for students beyond their first year who want to deepen their knowledge of English business terminology. The course is an online course in Moodle, divided into seven weeks of exercises.
The target level of the course is CEFR C1.
The course can be taken by students both in Helsinki and Vaasa.

5158 Team Communication Skills is a 6-credit online course promoting the mutual importance of professional and personal development in teamwork.
More particularly, the course offers theory-based insights and
practical tools that can help you respond to human characteristics
involved in communication and interpersonal relations. The aim of the course is to build on your competence and professional performance as well as to guide you in becoming a more resilient and responsible team player.
By the end of the course, you will (be able to):
- appreciate the role of human characteristics in teamwork.
- apply theory-based insights and practical tools to connect with other team members, to generate trusting team environments, and to foster meaningful team experiences.
- recognize your individual impact on social interaction and professional relationships.
The course can be taken as a summer course in August 2021 by students from both locations.
